About DJA DJA was founded in 1988 in a one-room office in Wichita, Kansas. Starting with just one client. Deborah John, a principal partner of DJA, developed a philosophy of providing personalized service with professional results as the foundation for the company. Having formerly been a financial aid administrator for a large chain of private career schools, provided Deborah with a deep insight into the special needs and requirements facing school owners and directors. This insight, along with Deborah's financial aid expertise, accounting and communication skills, allows DJA to rapidly expand its client base. The former founding partner, Alan John, had previously worked for several national computer and information processing firms. Alan was able to concentrate not only on automating internal DJA systems, but developed a method to integrate their client’s personal computers into DJA’s central financial aid processing system via the internet. DJA has more than 125 clients throughout the country - from the state of This philosophy explains why DJA does not have a voice mail system to interface with its clients. When an institution contracts with DJA, an account representative is assigned to that institution. In addition, clients can talk directly to the principal, Deborah John, as well as DJA’s administrative staff about their support, training, and processing needs. It is vital when hiring a financial aid servicer to be confident in that
firm’s expertise. DJA undergoes annual
audits to verify procedures and accuracy.
DJA also takes steps to make sure its staff undergoes constant
training in the field of financial aid and its related technology. In addition, DJA interfaces closely with
the U.S. Department of Education in To learn more about how DJA's services benefit Title IV schools, simply contact Deborah or Renee at 800-242-0977 or djainfo@gotodja.com. They will be happy to provide a list of DJA clients you can contact to find out how DJA is making their life easier. |
